Predictions

there have always been oracles -

there have always been ones jousting for power -

the powerful turned to the oracles to see the future for their advantage -

the ordinary turned to the oracles to see the future to ease their struggles-

How can one predict the future for another, or even see it for one's self? If every possibility is available and all choices are valid, how is it possible know which path one may choose down the road ?

If one is speeding down a highway and does not change their route, it is easy to predict the various encounters and experiences they may have along the way. However, humans are unpredictable at the best of times and may decide to take a more scenic route, seek out a particular restaurant or stop at an attraction that was not origionally planned.

Each decision we make either keeps us on the same predictable path, or sends us down a different fork in the road. Each path has its own adventures and challenges, which in turn cause us to decide whether to continue on that path or take another turn.

The irony is when a prediction is made, it makes one aware of their state of being. Becoming aware of their state of being can cause such a change in the person, that the prediction is no longer viable.
